This office formally establishes a permanent presence for RIEGL in the Canadian market to bring additional service offerings, brand visibility, and delivery excellence.
Current and future Canadian customers will have access to RIEGL expertise north of the border to address their unique business needs, as well as the ability to make their purchases of RIEGL systems in local currency, making the purchasing process smoother and simpler.

Michael Sitar
Managing Director for RIEGL Canada
Michael Sitar holds a Master’s of Environmental Studies (Geography) from the University of Waterloo, a BSc in Environmental Science from Nipissing University, and a Technologist Diploma in Environmental Biology from Canadore College. He has over twenty years of experience in the product and business management of survey sensors and solutions for leading lidar manufacturers. His focus is the development and implementation of strategic growth plans in existing and future lidar market verticals to increase RIEGL market share and brand recognition within North America.

Susan Licari
Susan Licari holds a BS degree in Business Administration/Economics with a Concentration in Marketing from Notre Dame de Namur University. She has over fifteen years of experience in remote sensing, 3D mapping, and LiDAR technology and her focus since August of 2017 has been developing strategic business initiatives to grow RIEGL brand recognition while expanding and developing the North American Market.
